Betsy Payne
Medical Manager
Betsy has over 25 years experience at Charlotte's Presbyterian Hospital in the Belk Heart Center and with Critical Care Open Heart Surgery and Recovery. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) as well as a Masters in Health Administration (MHA). Her role as a Nurse Manager led her teams to consistent successful results in the areas of highest patient satisfaction scores, highest employee retention rates and highest employee satisfaction scores in the entire Novant Healthcare System. In addition to those successes, she also wrote the policies and protocols for the start-up of the Belk Heart Center, has background in Neuro Intensive Care, and she has also contributed to Quality Control and Clinical Improvement Measures at Gaston Memorial. She has now decided to reenter the patient-care focus area of elder care with The Ivey. Her references, many of who are heart surgeons, rave about Betsy and the successful performance she had as a Nurse Manager. Betsy will lead the medical protocols, personal care and manage the entire staff of Care Givers. Betsy joined The Ivey in August 2007.
