Contribute to The Ivey

As you may know, for the past 5 years, I have been on a fantastic journey of entrepreneurship, after over 30 years in corporate America and the banking industry. The journey has been a roller coaster ride but never without joy for the rewarding services The Ivey has provided to so many families since we opened our doors January 2008. My mother is truly smiling at the results of what began with her unfortunate journey into the world of dementia. When one door closes, another one always opens.

You may have personally experienced, or know someone who has experienced, the impact of Alzheimer's and other types of memory loss and related chronic illnesses. Adult day care services provide relief and hope to those families.

I am excited to share with you that the mission of The Ivey is expanding! Now a not-for-profit organization, The Ivey can build on the progress already made and increase ways to serve a broader population with addtional programs and services. The economic climate that began in 2008 prompted a change in the daily service fee to $75 per day with no membership fee to help us deliver our services to more people for more days each week. In addition, an expansion of programs and services is being considered such as transportation, memory and other health screenings, educational seminars, relaxation and stress relief classes. Partnerships for join fundraising and shared expenses with other local service organizations such as the Alzheimer's Association are being developed to create economies of scale and operational efficiency.

While this is exciting news, I really need your help! A gift from you now helps "seed" our expansion and continued growth of these vital services. You may have personally experienced, or know someone who has experienced the impact of Alzheimer's and other types of memory loss and related chronic illnesses. Adult day care services can provide relief and hope to these families.
