After the Diagnosis

3. Build your team. Plan for the future.
4. Join a support group. Manage your stress.
5. Get regular medical care. Stay healthy physically & emotionally.
EARLY ON: Learn everything you can about the disease and identify sources of help. This is a marathon, not a sprint. The more you learn about this disease and take advantage of available resources, the better you are able to create a plan for the future - both for you and your loved one.
